The X-variant of this product is made of tool steel. This cutting tool has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-variants.

Products of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life span.

However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the spare parts. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The rotor knife is mounted centered on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

When installing, please also assure that the support of the knives is in a flat condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.

Its cutting edge is inclined at 60°.
