The rotor knife is perfectly applicable for cutting millses from Reto Recycling.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The wear behaviour and thus also the knife life can be influenced by the material and the cutting geometry. This means that the performance can be well customised to the application.

This rotor knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-option, which is the standard variation in most break down applications.

Here we offer you an ideal combination of resistance to wear and toughness at the same time.

Products of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its tool life.

However, this version must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the components. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The rotor knife is mounted left on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

It is imperative that the rotor knife is only installed to knife holders or knife crossbars with flat supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.

Its cutting edge is inclined at 60°.
