In the X-version, the rotor knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard option in most applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

Here we offer you a perfect combination of resistance to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures persistent wear over the service life of the rotor knife.

However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the spare parts. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The rotor knife is mounted left on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

It is imperative that the rotor knife is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with ideal supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.

The product measures 304mm in length, 75mm in width and 17mm in height.

Its cutting edge is inclined at 55°/50.
