Products of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life cycle.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will seriously weaken the structure.

 

Fastening in the machine:

When installing the rotor knife, please ensure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an intact contact surface in order to prevent breakage.

The measures of the rotor knife are 585mm long, 160mm wide and 16mm high.

The inclination of the cutting edge is 10°/25°.
