The rotor knife can be installed in the cutting mills of the Genox company.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

Through the use of different materials and the variance in the shape, the cutting tool can be customised to the break down application in terms of throughput and longevity.

In the X-option, this rotor knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard version in most break down applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

Items of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life span.

We emphasise that this variation should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the rotor knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

 

General characteristics:

The following measures are available: 500mm length, 95mm width, 23mm height.

Its cutting edge is inclined at 50°.
