This rotor knife can be used for crushing machines of the Mewa USM 1000 model range from Mewa/Ehehalt/Andritz Mewa/THM.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The cutting shape and the material used for constructing have a significant influence on the insensitivity and lifespan.

Due to the alloyed tool steel of the Y-version, it is approx. 5 % harder than the X-variant. This means that a longer knife life can be secured. In comparison, however, the rotor knife is more susceptible to impurities, which can lead to fractures more quickly.

In this option, the products are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the rotor knife wears homogenously over its lifetime.

We underline that this variation should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the rotor knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

The measurements of this spare part are 500mm in length, 79.5mm in width and 22mm in height.

The inclination of the cutting edge is 60°.

As part of the Premium Line, this rotor knife is produced in Germany.
