The rotor knife is an exact fit for the Herbold SML model series from Herbold Meckesheim.

In the X-version, the rotor knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variation in most break down applications. It is defined by a medium hardness.
Here we offer you an ideal combination of resistance to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.
In this option, the spare parts are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the rotor knife wears evenly over its lifetime.
To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will severely weaken the structure.
