In the X-variant, this rotor knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variation in most break down applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.
Here you are offered a beneficial compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.
Cutting tools of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life cycle.
However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the items. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

Its cutting edge is inclined at 75°.
