Compatibility with machines:
This rotor knife is a perfect fit for the Eldan HPG 165 machine from Eldan Recycling.
Cutting performance and durability:
The efficiency of the component depends primarily on the variation of the material and shape.
Due to the alloyed tool steel of the Y-option, it is approx. 5 % harder than the X-version. This means that a longer knife life can be secured. In comparison, however, the rotor knife is more susceptible to impurities, which can lead to breakage more quickly.
In this variant, the components are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the rotor knife wears steadily over its lifetime.
To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will severely weaken the structure.
Fastening in the machine:
When installing the rotor knife, please assure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.

The subsequent measures are available: 399mm length, 50mm width, 35mm height.
