Compatibility with machines:
This rotor knife is an exact fit for the Eldan HPG and Eldan HPG 165 model series from the Eldan Recycling brand.
Cutting performance and durability:
The wear and tear behaviour and thus also the lifetime of the product can be impacted by the material and the shape. This means that the performance can be well configured to the application scenario.
In the X-version, this rotor knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variation in most applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.
Here you are offered a balanced relationship between insensitivity to wear and toughness simultaneously.
Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the service life of the rotor knife.
To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is crucial not to armour or weld on this type, as it will seriously weaken the structure.
Fastening in the machine:
When fitting the rotor knife, please ensure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
General characteristics:
The subsequent measurements are available: 399mm length, 50mm width, 35mm height.
