The wear and tear behaviour and thus also the lifespan can be impacted by the material and the cutting shape. This means that the performance can be well adapted to the application area.

In the X-version, this rotor knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard option in most break down applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.

This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

In this variant, the spare parts are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the rotor knife wears steadily over its lifetime.

However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the cutting tools. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

The component measures 340mm in length, 90mm in width and 25mm in height.

The inclination of the cutting edge is 50°.
