In the X-option, the rotor knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard version in most break down applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.

Here we offer you a suitable combination of resistance to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the tool life of the rotor knife.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is crucial not to armour or weld on this type, as it will acutely weaken the structure.

The inclination of the cutting edge is 30°/25°.
