The X-version of this item is made of tool steel. This variant has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-variations.

Here we offer you an ideal combination of resistance to wear and toughness at the same time.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the lifetime of the rotor knife.

Hardfacing or welding on this variation should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be acutely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.
