The item presented is made of tool steel in the X-version, which is our standard variation for most operational scenarios. The hardness of this rotor knife is in the medium range.

Here we offer you an ideal combination of resistance to wear and toughness at the same time.

In this option, the cutting tools are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the rotor knife wears evenly over its lifespan.

We underline that this variant should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the rotor knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.
