In the X-variant, this rotor knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard version in most applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

Here we offer you a suitable combination of insensitivity to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the service life of the rotor knife.

Hardfacing or welding on this option should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be acutely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

 

General characteristics:

The rotor knife is 129.2mm long, 35mm wide and 5mm high.

Its cutting edge is inclined at 50°/30°.

This favourable option in comparison to our Premium Line is part of the Eco Line.
