Cutting performance and durability:

The shape and the material used for constructing have a significant effect on the insensitivity and product lifespan.

The W-version has a lower wear resistance compared to the X-option, but shows a higher toughness. Knives of this variation are used when the contact surface is no longer in an intact status or the input material contains impurities. In the W-variant, this product is also produced from tool steel.

Spare parts of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life span.

Hardfacing or welding on this version should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be seriously weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.
