In the X-version, the rotor knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most break down applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between insensitivity to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Cutting tools of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life cycle.

Hardfacing or welding on this variation should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be significantly weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.
