This X-version knife is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard option in most break down applications. Consequently, it has a medium hardness.

This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures persistent wear over the service life of the knife.

We emphasise that this variation should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The knife is mounted right on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

When attaching, please also ensure that the support of the knifes is in an ideal condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
