In the X-option, the knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variation in most break down applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Products of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its tool life.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will significantly weaken the structure.

Fastening in the machine:

The knife has a drilling for fastening to M20 threads.

It is imperative that the knife is only installed to knife holders or knife crossbars with ideal supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
