This knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-variant, which is the standard version in most break down applications.

Here we offer you an applicable combination of insensitivity to wear and toughness at the same time.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the lifetime of the knife.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of products of this variation, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.

Fastening in the machine:

The knife is mounted right on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

When installing the knife, please ensure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with an undamaged contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
