In the X-variant, the knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard option in most break down applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.

Here we offer you an applicable combination of insensitivity to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the lifetime of the knife.

We underline that this variation should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The knife is mounted right on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

When installing the knife, please assure that it is only adapted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an intact contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
