Cutting performance and durability:

The performance of this component depends predominantly on the variation of the material and cutting shape.

This B1-variant is characterized by its insensitivity to impurities and high toughness. This follows from the high core strength of this version. However, knives of this option wear out more rapidly.

A cutting crown of this option is case-hardened, with a decreasing hardness from the edge to the core. This makes the wear of the cutting tool unstable in terms of tool life.

Fastening in the machine:

To allow the knife to be fastened, it has a drilling for M20 threads.

When installing the knife, please assure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
