This X-option knife is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard variation in most areas of application. Therefore, it has a medium hardness.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

Spare parts of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its tool life.

However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the spare parts. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

General characteristics:

The measures of the knife are 43mm long, 43mm wide and 19.5mm high.
