Cutting performance and durability:

The performance of this component depends predominantly on the variant of the material and cutting geometry.

By contrast, the W9-version wears faster than the X-option due to its lower hardness. Also the resistance to impurities and the high toughness of the W9-variation is a notable feature compared to the X-variant.

Items of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life cycle.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of spare parts of this version, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.

The measurements of the knife are 409.4mm long, 82mm wide and 40mm high.
