The knife is perfectly fitting for crushers, shredders, pre-shredders and post-shredders from Untha.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The wear and tear behaviour and thus also the lifespan can be influenced by the material and the cutting geometry. This means that the performance can be well adjusted to the application area.

This knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-option, which is the standard variation in most break down applications.

Here we offer you an ideal combination of insensitivity to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.

In this version, the products are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the knife wears steadily over its lifetime.

Hardfacing or welding on this variant should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be acutely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.
