This knife can be used for the Eldan HR, Heavy Rasper, and Eldan MPR model series from the producer Eldan Recycling.
Cutting performance and durability:
The performance of the spare part depends primarily on the variation of the material and cutting shape.
Comparatively, the W9-option wears more rapidly than the X-variant due to its lower hardness. Also the insensitivity to impurities and the high toughness of the W9-version is a remarkable feature compared to the X-variation.
Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the lifetime of the knife.
To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is crucial not to armour or weld on this type, as it will significantly weaken the structure.
Fastening in the machine:
When attaching, please also ensure that the support of the knifes is in an undamaged condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
