Knife HMED0399-YR2-E from CUTMETALL for crushing machines from Eldan Recycling
Compatibility with machines:
This knife can be installed in the crusher, the shredder, the pre-shredder and the post-shredder of the Eldan Recycling brand.
Cutting performance and durability:
The performance of the item depends predominantly on the variation of the material and shape.
Due to the alloyed tool steel of the Y-variant, it is approx. 5 % harder than the X-option. This means that a longer durability can be secured. In comparison, however, the knife is more predisposed to impurities, which can lead to fractures more quickly.
In this version, the spare parts are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the knife wears steadily over its lifespan.
However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the cutting tools. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.
Fastening in the machine:
To allow the knife to be fastened, it has a drilling for M16 threads.
When installing the knife, please ensure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
General characteristics:
The measures of the knife are 399mm long, 65.9mm wide and 25mm high.
The particular feature of our Eco Line, to which this knife belongs, is the lower price range compared to the Premium Line.
