This knife is ideally suitable for crushers, shredders, pre-shredders and post-shredders from Zerma (Amis).

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The product can be adapted to the area of application, depending on the various materials and varying cutting geometry.

In the X-version, the knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard option in most break down applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a beneficial compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.

In this variant, the products are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the knife wears homogenously over its lifetime.

However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the cutting tools. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

To fasten the knife, the cutting tool to be adapted has a drilling for M12 threads.

When fitting the knife, please ensure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
