Detailed description

Knife HMED0314-910-E from CUTMETALL for recycling machines from Eldan Recycling

Compatibility with machines:

The knife is to be installed in the Eldan SC 1408, Eldan SC, and Super Knife machine models from Eldan Recycling.

Cutting performance and durability:

Through the use of different materials and the variance in the shape, the component can be adjusted to the operational scenario in terms of throughput and longevity.

In comparison, the W9-version wears more rapidly than the X-variation due to its lower hardness. Also the insensitivity to impurities and the high toughness of the W9-variant is a noteworthy feature compared to the X-option.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the tool life of the knife.

However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the components. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

General characteristics:

The measurements of the knife are 313.8mm long, 213.7mm wide and 40mm high.

As part of our Eco Line, the knife offers a lower-priced alternative to the Premium Line.
