This knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-variation, which is the standard option in most areas of application.

Here you are offered a beneficial compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.

In this variant, the products are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the knife wears evenly over its lifespan.

However, this version must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the components. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.
