This knife can be used with the crusher, the shredder, the pre-shredder and the post-shredder of the Artech Recyclingtechnik GmbH brand.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The efficiency of this product depends primarily on the version of the material and cutting shape.

Knifes in this W-variation are 5% softer in comparison to the X-option and have a lower susceptibility to impurities. The component is produced out of alloyed tool steel, which makes it applicable for demanding application areas. However this variant has a shorter lifespan.

In this option, the components are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the knife wears homogenously over its lifetime.

However, this version must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the items. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

The measurements of the cutting tool are 195mm in length, 78mm in width and 38mm in height.
