The knife can be installed in the crusher, the shredder, the pre-shredder and the post-shredder of the Artech Recyclingtechnik GmbH brand.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The wear behaviour and thus also the knife life can be influenced by the material and the cutting shape. This means that the efficiency can be well adjusted to the application.

In the X-variation, this knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard version in most applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

Components of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its tool life.

Hardfacing or welding on this option should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.
