Cutting performance and durability:
The performance of the spare part depends primarily on the version of the material and cutting geometry.
The W-variant is constructed from alloyed tool steel. The knife in this option is approx. 5 % softer than the X-variation, which leads to a shorter longevity but at the same time it is less breakable. Knifes of this option are used when the contact surface is no longer in an intact fit or when the input contains impurities.
Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the service life of the knife.
However, this version must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the items. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

The dimensions of the knife are 172mm long, 57mm wide and 28mm high.
