The product presented is made of tool steel in the X-variation, which is our standard variant for most operational scenarios. The hardness of this knife is in the medium range.

Here you are offered a beneficial compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the tool life of the knife.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of cutting tools of this option, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.
