For crushers, shredders, pre-shredders and post-shredders by the producer Weima Maschinenbau GmbH the knife is ideally applicable.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

Through the use of particular materials and the variance in the shape, the component can be customised to the operational scenario in terms of throughput and lifetime.

This knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-variant, which is the standard option in most break down applications.

Here you are offered a beneficial compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.

In this version, the components are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the cutting crown wears homogenously over its lifespan.

Hardfacing or welding on this variation should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be seriously weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.
