This knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-variant, which is the standard variation in most applications.

Here we offer you an applicable combination of resistance to wear and toughness at the same time.

Items of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life cycle.

Hardfacing or welding on this variation should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be significantly weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.
