The wear and tear behaviour and thus also the lifetime of the product can be impacted by the material and the cutting shape. This means that the performance can be well adapted to the application scenario.

In the X-variant, the knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variation in most applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.

This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the lifetime of the knife.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of spare parts of this version, as the structure will otherwise be severely impaired. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.

The knife is 116.6mm long, 116.6mm wide and 37mm high.

As this knife belongs to the Premium Line, the cutting tool presented is exclusively made in German production.
