This knife is perfectly applicable for crushers, shredders, pre-shredders and post-shredders from Préciméca.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The performance of this spare part depends predominantly on the variation of the material and shape.

In the Y-option, this cutting tool is made of alloyed tool steel. The knife in this version is approx. 5% harder than the X-variant, which results in a longer tool life. However, the texture is also more brittle. Due to that it can be more fragile if there is a high level of impurities.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the lifetime of the knife.

Hardfacing or welding on this variant should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be seriously weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

The knife is 115mm long, 51mm wide and 27mm high.
