Compatibility with machines:

This knife can be used for the crusher, the shredder, the pre-shredder and the post-shredder of the Weima Maschinenbau GmbH brand.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The efficiency of this cutting tool depends largely on the variation of the material and cutting shape.

This alloyed tool steel is 5 % softer than the X-option and is therefore less susceptible to fractures. This makes this W-variant ideal for utilizations where impurities are present in the input. In return, however, this version has a shorter longevity.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the tool life of the knife.

We highlight that this version should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

For attaching, the knife has a drilling for M30 threads.

The spare part is suitable for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 100mm. With regard to the various range of models, other configuration options can be realised.

When installing, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in a flat condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
