Cost killer: Chain head set for turbo crushers

As powerful recycling machines, modern turbo crushers (called Querstromzerspaner QZ in German) have proven themselves in practice. Their rapidly rotating chains reliably break up and shred various composites. These include electrical and electronic scrap through to large household appliances. In biogas plants, the Bio-QZs separate the organic material from foreign bodies. And they shred biowaste, maize silage, sugar beets, grass clippings as well as horse and cattle dung into a homogeneous basic material (substrate) for fermentation.
In order to extend the service life of high-quality QZ and Bio-QZ even further, Hofer Engineering AG, whose products CUTMETALL offers worldwide as the exclusive sales partner, developed a new type of chain head system. Its special advantage: The standard chains can be directly attached to it without the need for an expensive sandwich. This innovative approach makes it possible to drastically reduce the costs for the wearing parts - compared to the financial expenditure these components cause with sandwich chain head systems.
The QZ chain head system from Hofer Engineering can be mounted effortlessly and quickly on the drive pulley of a turbo crusher. Time-wasting conversion work is not necessary. The standard chains are then attached with a pin and fixed by the cover of the chain head.
