Cutting performance and durability:

Through the use of different materials and varying the cutting shape, the product can be matched to the application area in terms of throughput and lifetime.

Comparatively, the W9-variant is softer than the X-variation. In addition, the W9-option wears also faster. On the other hand, it has the advantage of increased toughness and is also insensitive to impurities.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the tool life of the knife.

Hardfacing or welding on this version should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be significantly weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The knife has a drilling for installing to M16 threads.

It is imperative that the knife is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with ideal supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.

General characteristics:

This knife is 216.5mm long, 208.9mm wide and 40mm high.

As part of our Eco Line, the knife offers a lower-priced alternative to the Premium Line.
