Deflector wedges made in this Y-version will extend the operating time of your product. Due to the hardness the susceptibility to impurities is higher, which makes it easier to fracture.

In this option, the cutting tools are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the deflector wedge wears steadily over its lifetime.

However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the spare parts. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

When attaching, please also ensure that the support of the deflector wedges is in an undamaged condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
