Compatibility with machines:

The cutter is to be fitted for the Vecoplan VAZ and Vecoplan VNZ models from Vecoplan.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The wear behaviour and thus also the lifetime of the product can be impacted by the material and the cutting geometry. This means that the efficiency can be well customised to the application scenario.

Due to the alloyed tool steel of the Y-version, it is approx. 5 % harder than the X-option. This means that a longer knife life can be secured. In comparison, however, the cutter is more susceptible to impurities, which can lead to breakage more quickly.

In this variant, the components are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the cutter wears evenly over its lifetime.

However, this version must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the items. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

This cutting tool has a drilling for installing to M24 threads.

When attaching the cutter, please assure that it is only adapted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an ideal contact surface in order to prevent breakage.

The subsequent measurements are available: 80mm length, 80mm width, 45mm height.
