In the Y-variation, this spare part is made of alloyed tool steel. The cutter in this version is approx. 5% harder than the X-option, which results in a longer tool life. However, the texture is also more brittle. Due to that it can be more fragile if there is a high level of impurities.

Cutting tools of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life cycle.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will acutely weaken the structure.

Fastening in the machine:

The cutter has a drilling for installing to M24 threads.

When attaching, please also assure that the support of the cutters is in a flat condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.

The component measures 80mm in length, 80mm in width and 45mm in height.
