Cutting performance and durability:

This component can be adapted to the break down application, depending on the particular materials and the variance in shape.

In the X-version, the cutting crown is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most break down applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a good compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures persistent wear over the service life of the cutting crown.

We emphasise that this option should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the cutting crown, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The cutting crown has a drilling for attaching to M24 threads.

It is imperative that the cutting crown is only installed to knife holders or knife crossbars with ideal supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.

General characteristics:

The dimensions of the cutting crown are 80mm long, 80mm wide and 45mm high.

As part of our Eco Line, the cutting crown offers a lower-priced alternative to the Premium Line.
