This cutter is an exact fit for the Weima WLK machine from Weima Maschinenbau GmbH.

Through the use of particular materials and varying the shape, the cutting tool can be adjusted to the application area in terms of throughput and lifetime.

The X-variation of this product is made of tool steel. The version has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-variations.

This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

Components of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its tool life.

Hardfacing or welding on this option should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be acutely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The item has a drilling for attaching to M24 threads.

When fitting the cutter, please assure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an ideal contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
