Compatibility with machines:

This cutter can be used for the crusher, the shredder, the pre-shredder and the post-shredder of the Lindner Recyclingtech company.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The shape and the material used for constructing have a considerable impact on the insensitivity and knife life.

Cutters in this W-variation are 5% softer in comparison to the X-option and have a lower susceptibility to impurities. The part is made out of alloyed tool steel, which makes it ideal for demanding application areas. However this version has a shorter tool lifespan.

In this variant, the products are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the cutter wears evenly over its lifetime.

However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the items. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The cutter has a drilling for installing to M20 threads.

When attaching the cutter, please assure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
