Cutting performance and durability:

The cutting shape and the material used for constructing have a considerable effect on the resistance and lifetime of the product.

In the X-version, this cutter is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most applications. It is defined by a medium hardness.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the lifetime of the cutter.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is crucial not to armour or weld on this type, as it will significantly weaken the structure.

Fastening in the machine:

The cutter has a drilling for fastening to M18 threads.

When installing, please also ensure that the support of the cutters is in an intact condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.

The dimensions of the cutter are 60mm long, 60mm wide and 30mm high.
