Cutting performance and durability:

The efficiency of this component depends predominantly on the variant of the material and cutting shape.

In the X-variation, the cutter is made of tool steel, which is our standard version in most applications. It is defined by a medium hardness.

Here we offer you an applicable combination of resistance to wear and toughness at the same time.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures persistent wear over the lifetime of the cutter.

However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the cutting tools. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

Fastening in the machine:

The cutter has a drilling for attaching to M18 threads.

When fitting the cutter, please ensure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.

General characteristics:

This cutter is 60mm long, 60mm wide and 30mm high.
