This item shown is made of tool steel in the X-option, which is our standard version for most areas of application. The hardness of this cutter is in the medium range.

Here you are offered a beneficial compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

Products of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life cycle.

We underline that this variant should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the cutter, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The cutter has a drilling for attaching to M18 threads.

When installing, please also ensure that the support of the cutters is in a flat condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.

The dimensions of the cutter are 60mm long, 60mm wide and 30mm high.
